Signed, numbered and dated by the artist with his customary gallows symbol.

Billy Childish started making woodcut prints in the early 1980's, often using them for book covers or to accompany poems in his poetry collections - usually credited to Bill Hamper. Since then, printmaking in the rough and ready manner that woodcuts allow has been a staple and consistent part of Billy's practice.
L-13 first published prints for Billy back in 2004, first helping him press woodcuts using the "back of a spoon method", but in 2007 bought an 1825 Albion Press that made our lives slightly easier. Billy's son uddie Hamper now assists im in making the prints.
