This is Billy's third novel and the first trade edition of a book we ever published. Also the first of Childish's novel to be kept uncorrected with the author's dyslexic spelling and the bare minimum of editing, keeping its raw, unchecked and unabashed vitality.
We printed 1000 copies with 500 in a green binding and 500 in a venetian red. When we got the green bindings back from the printers they were bound in a linen moulded paper rather than real cloth so we had some of them rebound in a more vibrant lime green, but not sure how many were done that way. The copy we have here is the first issue in moulded paper covered boards, not the cloth. The red copies were all bound in cloth.
The basic dustjacket was also an afterthought, and is screen printed in 2 colours.
