Archive Annotations: STOT21stCplanB The Big One – London, The End

NOTE:
Archive Annotations are a series of sporadic and incomplete anecdotes regarding past L-13 releases, oddities and rejects which are dug up from the vaults to be paraded about and subsequently DISPOSED OF via the archive section of the site shop.
Usually these are unique items, limited numbers from a long sold-out edition or unreleased experiments.
Once they are sold and their fate is sealed in a private collection these annotations will remain as reference to their existence.

2007

20.5 x 22cm with frame.

The number 1 print from an edition made for the London Art Fair. The previous year we had been featured on BBC London news as having the cheapest artwork at the fair – a James Cauty CNPD stamp for 50p.

Wanting to do better than that and under the banner of ‘lowering the tone and bringing the price of art down’ we made this signed limited edition of this print for sale at 25p. They all sold very quickly of course – to the envy of all the other exhibitors – but we kept back this first print as a memento.

Signed on the back of the print and the frame.

Now very scarce – only one available.

Check availability in the archive section of the L-13 shop. SOLD
