Finger of God Painting Machine paintings are like buses. None come along for years then 5 arrive all at once.

Inventor of the machine Harry Adams has been far too busy making proper paintings and preparing for a retrospective at the Black Cube, so STOT21stCplanB has stepped in and taken charge of all Finger of God Painting Machine operations to move things along with renewed energy.

Having successfully submitted a proposal for the Finger of God Painting Machine to be installed as the permanent monument on Trafalgar Square’s Fourth Plinth, STOT21stCplanB have chosen to celebrate this momentous occasion with five Great New Paintings made in the Age of Greatness, formed by God’s Great Finger, untouched by the puny hand of man.

Thus, we proudly present here the Make Art Great Again American Greats (MAGAAG) Finger of God Painting Series.

Starting with the MAGA New Deal Neo-Abstract Expressionists Jackson Bollock, his mate Robert Motherfucker (aka Bobby Mofo) and their sorrowful sidekick Mark Rothcock, we move swiftly on to expat myth scribbler of Wimbledon Common, Bungo Twombley and bring the series to a close with pop upstart and iconic scenester Randy Bumhol.

All of these paintings are unique works in oil or acrylic on 7” x 7” cartridge paper, signed and stamped by the Anartiste and come with a certificate of authenticity + a double sided A2 poster listing all the Anartistes so far represented by the Finger of God since 2009.

31 sets of all 5 with a signed poster are also available at a special price.

There is no limitation to the series except for the Anartiste’s attention span and willingness to operate the machine.

For those of you who don’t know: the paintings are made by laying a sheet of paper on The Big Book of Dada, setting the Finger of God Painting Machine into operational mode and letting God do the rest. The archive footage below shows it in action when it was co-opted for use during the Art Hate Struggle of the early 21^st Century.
