A RIOT IN A JAM JAR IS A MANTELPIECE ORNAMENT FOR THE TWITTER GENERATION

Jimmy Cauty started producing RIOTS IN JAM JARS in 2011 as part of larger series of works Small World Re-Enactments. These re-enactments were all made using traditional model making components at 1:87 scale, skilfully painted and crafted into miniature, twisted reconfigurations of the real world and housed upturned jam jars.

Since then Cauty has produced RIOTS IN JAM JARS in service of other projects, including the ADP Riot Tour and ESTATE.
