ABOUT THE PEOPLE’S PYRAMID
The People’s Pyramid will be built by K2 Plant Hire Ltd, or their descendants, by order of the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu (The JAMs).
The People’s Pyramid, once complete, will be a solid brick pyramid standing at 23 feet high and comprised of 34,592 Bricks of Mu.
The People’s Pyramid will start as a small pyramid and grow upwards and outwards each year as more people die and new Bricks of Mu are laid onto the pyramid.
The People’s Pyramid will be built in Toxteth.
Until the People’s Pyramid is completed, ceremonial laying of new Bricks of Mu will occur on the Toxteth Day of the Dead, held on the 23rd November each year.
The People’s Pyramid may take generations to be completed.
Please note: as agents to The JAMs, the Merchants of Death only deal with the logistics of Mumufication up to the point of death. After death please contact CCC&D via CCCD@MUMUFICATION.COM
The Mumufication fee in the very short term is for:
The Brick of Mu
The Architects and Civil Engineers Fees for the People’s Pyramid
But in the longer term the vast chunk of that £99 is for:
The re-firing of the Brick of Mu with the 23 grams of cremated remains
The purchase of the land to build the People’s Pyramid on. Land that had to have at least a 1,000 year lease
The annual laying of bricks on the People’s Pyramid on the Toxteth Day of the Dead

TERMS & CONDITIONS
GUARANTEE OF MUMUFICATION as written on the Certificate of MuMufication
This certificate, signed by the living representatives of The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu (The JAMs) guarantees that a small portion of your cremated remains, i.e. ground, powdered bone fragments, will be fired in a Brick of Mu and will become one of the 34,592 Bricks of Mu needed to build the People’s Pyramid. Your Brick of Mu will be ceremonially laid by a representative of The JAMs with mortar and trowel on the next Toxteth Day of the Dead following your death.
To ratify this guarantee, the Procedure for MuMufication must be followed.
PRE-DEATH DIRECTIONS FOR MUMUFICATION
On receipt of your Brick of Mu you must fill in the registration form provided and return it to the Merchants of Death at L-13 Light Industrial Workshop, 31 Eyre Street Hill, Clerkenwell, EC1R 5EW, London.
All information provided will be written into the Book of Mu.
To enact MuMufication you must appoint a representative to act on your behalf after your death. This representative must be someone you think will outlive you, or someone you hope will outlive you. They must be willing and able to complete the post-death procedure to enact your desire to be MuMufied. If your appointed representative dies before you or becomes unable to perform the duty, another must be appointed. The JAMs, K2 Plant Hire Ltd, CCC&D, L-13, the Merchants of Death and any other agents for MuMufication can take no responsibility for the actions of your representative. The JAMs, K2 Plant Hire Ltd, CCC&D, L-13, the Merchants of Death or any other agents for MuMufication cannot be appointed as your representative. It is entirely the responsibility of your representative to follow the post-death procedure for MuMufication, and it is entirely your responsibility to inform them and ensure they understand their duty.
You may Get MuMufication for a living person other than yourself, but it is advised you discuss this openly with them before you act. MuMufication should not be thrust upon anyone.
MUMUFICATION FOR THOSE ALREADY DEAD
If you are already in possession of the remains of someone you wish to be MuMufied, you may Get MuMufication for them on their behalf as their representative. It is advised that you discuss this with other friends and family before doing so. On registration you must provide their details to be registered in the Book of Mu.
On your demise, it must be arranged that all or part of you is cremated. Your representative must inform surviving relatives that a small portion of your cremated remains are required for the purposes of MuMufication. 23 grams of your remains are needed for this purpose but they should request that several portions of 23 grams are taken in case of acts of God or plain bad luck. Your Brick of Mu and at least two portions must then be sent to Callender, Callender, Cauty & Drummond for firing at H.G. Mathews Brick Works*. Your representative should also keep at least 2 portions in case of loss or destruction. If your Brick of Mu breaks in firing or is lost in transit a replacement will be provided. Your representative, relatives and friends may then attend the ceremonial laying of your Brick of Mu by a representative of The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu. This will take place at the annual Toxteth Day of the Dead on the next 23rd November following your death.
Participation in The People’s Pyramid only requires a fraction of cremated remains, and allows all other family memorialisation, such as scattering, keeping or interring the rest of the cremated remains to go ahead.
Registering for MuMufication does NOT give you or your representatives any other entitlements or rights of ownership or unrestricted access to either The People’s Pyramid or the land it is built on, other than to be a vital part of The People’s Pyramid following your death. Until a permanent site is found for The People’s Pyramid, all Bricks of Mu will be laid onto The People’s Pyramid Foundation Stone. The People’s Pyramid Foundation Stone and first Bricks of Mu laid will be used in ceremonies and activities that seek a permanent site. For this The People’s Pyramid Foundation Stone will remain mobile, and may be hauled, forklifted, and otherwise moved until a permanent site is found.
The cost of registering for MuMufication may vary due to circumstances of purchase, but price difference does not convey or take away any privilege: A Brick of Mu is a Brick of Mu. Just as The People’s Pyramid is The People’s Pyramid.
The JAMs, CCC&D, K2 Plant Hire Ltd and their agents undertake the responsibility of building the People’s Pyramid and ensuring its successful completion. If the building takes longer than one generation then the task will be passed on to the next. The JAMs, CCC&D, K2 Plant Hire Ltd and their current agents can take no responsibility for the actions of their descendants.
MuMufication is an aide for the acceptance of mortality and a balanced understanding of life. It does not seek death or encourage any death wish. As such, The JAMs, K2 Plant Hire Ltd, CCC&D, L-13, the Merchants of Death and any other agents for MuMufication take no responsibility for the health, mental health or manner of death of anyone registered for MuMufication or those related to them. Nor for the sorrow and loss felt by those they leave behind. On registering and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you, your representative(s), friends and next of kin accept this and acknowledge that MuMufication and the building of the People’s Pyramid is an act of goodness with no malice or wish for malice.
If the ownership of your Brick of Mu changes hands, it is up to the new owner to contact CCC&D to register for MuMufication and annul yours. There will be an administration charge to cover this**. The exchange or trading of Bricks of Mu is not encouraged but it is not forbidden either.
Bricks of Mu need to be treated with respect and good judgement. They are real bricks but can still break, so handle with care.
Prominent, safe pre-mortem display is expected and encouraged. Hiding the Brick of Mu under your bed is also allowed and respected.
The People’s Pyramid is designed to grow outward and upward in the manner of a crystal forming. As time goes by the early Bricks of Mu will be encased by the later ones. It will not be possible to identify each individual Brick of Mu or for you or your representatives to choose where yours will rest.
It is expected that rituals and ceremonies will also grow around The People’s Pyramid and you, as registered for MuMufication, will be notified or invited to these. An occasional MuMufication newsletter will also be issued by email, giving news and updates on anything regarding MuMufication.
The Book of Mu registering all the MuMufied, their names, dates of birth and dates of death will be kept in perpetuity.
*Your representative should contact CCC&D following your death for shipping/delivery details and advice on secure packing.
**Contact CCC&D or their agents for further information of annulment and re-registration fees.
